Peter Khoury

With more than 30 years of extensive expertise in corporate, financial, project and strategic management, Peter is the founder and Managing Director of Khoury Consulting. With a passion for growing and improving businesses through innovation and effective engagement of all key stakeholders, his experience includes work in a variety of industries including manufacturing, wholesale and retail.

Prior to consulting, Peter held senior financial and commercial management positions within the public & private sectors. As a respected finance executive within the South Australian business community, he served two terms as State President of CPA Australia. Peter’s experience includes leading finance functions and complex projects; conducting cost and benefits analysis; financial evaluations and feasibility assessments; and developing business cases across many organisations. He has brought about significant step change in the performance of organisations, particularly in finance functions, whilst providing leadership and guidance to teams.

In recent years, Peter has been working in and leading firms where he has established and built profitable practices by delivering successful outcomes and providing clients with strategic and financial management advice. He has achieved this by drawing on his extensive corporate background, including Senior Executive roles such as General Manager Corporate Services, Financial Controller and Commercial Manager.

Throughout his career, he has been known as a change agent who delivers on challenging projects. He has also developed a reputation for being a courageous leader with empathy and the ability to engage and work with people across all levels of an organisation, from the shop floor to the boardroom.
